Please join the Peacham Historical Association for their July Fourth activities. All events are free and open to the public!
11:00 am – 4pm: Mapping Our Settlement
Exhibition opening at the Historical House. The exhibit will display the earliest maps, historical documents from the Town, Abenaki artifacts and other materials tracing Peacham’s initial development from its settlement in 1776 through ca. 1810.
Opening on the 4th of July, the exhibition continues through October 3, then in a more condensed version at the gallery of the Peacham Library through January 20, 2027.

1:30pm: Public Reading of the Declaration of Independence
Public reading of the Declaration of Independence delivered by three local high school students at the Peacham Meeting House
Location: Peacham Congregational Church, 56 Church Street, Peacham, VT
2:30Pm: Revolutionary War Soldiers’ Ghost Walk
Revolutionary War Soldiers’ Ghost Walk at the Peacham Cemetery. The ghost walk will feature portrayals of William Chamberlin, John Skeele, David Martin and Edward Clark, four Revolutionary soldiers who played pivotal roles in Peacham’s early history. Played by Bruce Maclean, Bruce Westcott, Jim Minichiello and Tim McKay, respectively.
