Your gift provides education programming for all ages created by us and our partner organizations around the state through:

  • Early literacy programs for childcare providers, center directors, librarians, and families from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds
  • Humanities Camps for middle and high school students
  • Lectures at libraries around the state through our Speakers Bureau
  • Vermont Reads programs in schools, libraries, community centers, and correctional facilities, among others
  • Community Grantmaking that provides transformational support through collaboration with state-wide cultural and educational nonprofits

Our seasonal “Words in the Woods” program allows Vermonters and visitors to enjoy our state’s natural beauty while listening to and reading literature in the outdoors.
