Artist and scholar Ace Lehner has taken the motif of the barbershop and created a space for queer world-making through their installation and social practice performance piece, “Barbershop: The Art of Queer Failure.” Lehner discusses how their piece reimagines and “queers” the traditional images and experiences of barbershops.
