Will trains, consults, speaks, and informs policy on trauma, homelessness, mental health and addiction recovery, supported employment, equity, educational access and economic empowerment nationally. Will is the Director of Weatherization and Climate Impact at Capstone Community Action.
Prior to that, he served for two years as the Executive Director of “Recovery Vermont” (The Vermont Association for Mental Health and Addiction Recovery) – Vermont’s oldest and largest recovery organization; and a Field Director at the Vermont Agency of Human Services and the Executive Director of Another Way, a mental health drop-in center – for six years respectively. Will started his career as a street outreach worker and at-risk youth trainer and mentor. He has overcome homelessness, addiction, and mental health challenges.
Vermont is not immune to issues like addiction, housing insecurity, and poverty. In recent years these overlapping problems have strained resources across the state, and can divide communities as they struggle to find solutions. Join Will Eberle as he explores how to surmount the effect of bias and stigma so we can improve the health, happiness, and sense of belonging for all Vermonters.

Our seasonal “Words in the Woods” program allows Vermonters and visitors to enjoy our state’s natural beauty while listening to and reading literature in the outdoors.
Humanities Camps are filled with reading and writing projects, field trips, and outdoor activities.
We won a 2020 Schwartz Prize for best public humanities programming in the U.S. for Vermont Reads 2019: “March: Book One.”
We supported the Chandler Center for the Arts’ Global Connections Youth Outreach program, which highlights artists from around the world.
