New this year!
We are offering each Vermont Reads 2024 host organization an opportunity to apply for a grant of up to $500 to extend their programming around Gather. These grants can be used for items such as:
- Honoraria for guest speakers
- Screening costs for films related to the book’s themes
- Facilities charges and equipment rental costs for special events
- Transportation costs to events and/or exhibits
We will accept and review applications on a rolling basis, beginning on June 15, 2024 and ending no later than June 15, 2025. We anticipate making up to 15 different Vermont Reads grant awards of up to $500 each.
How to Apply
Vermont Reads grants are managed through our Rapid Response Grant program. Applications are reviewed monthly. If you submit your application by the first of the month, you will be notified of the award decision by the 15th of the same month.
