We’re so glad that you have applied to host Vermont Reads 2024: Gather in your community!
Here are three additional ways you can extend your Vermont Reads programming around the book:
- Vermont Reads Grants: we are now accepting applications for Vermont Reads grants through our Rapid Response Grants program. Applications are reviewed monthly; if you submit your application by the first of the month, you will be notified of the award decision by the 15th. Grant awards are for up to $500.
Here’s where you can apply for one of the grants: https://vermonthumanities.submittable.com/submit/297903/2024-rapid-response-grants. - Free Speakers Bureau Talks: we’ve added these talks to our Speakers Bureau catalog. These talks are free to Vermont Reads hosts:
A Bridge Across Our Two Vermonts with Recovery Vermont Executive Director Will Eberle
and Writers for Recovery Workshop with Bess O’Brien and Gary Miller. - Free facilitated discussions: you can book a free book discussion of “Gather,” led by one of our trained Reading & Discussion facilitators.
This page on our website lists the facilitators: https://www.vermonthumanities.org/programs/book-a-program/vermont-reads/vermont-reads-2024/hosting-vermont-reads/leading-a-book-discussion/.
Please contact one of the facilitators listed on that page, then fill out our Vermont Reads Facilitated Discussion Form in Submittable to schedule your session.
We will be back in touch in the near future. If you have any questions about Vermont Reads, please contact Richelle Franzoni at community@vermonthumanities.org.
