To celebrate the Vermont Reads 2023 selection Last Night at the Telegraph Club, National Book Award Winner Malinda Lo visited the South Burlington Public Library to discuss writing about queer life in the 1950s, explore how young adult fiction can speak to readers of any age, and take questions from the audience.

The conversation was moderated by National Book Award Finalist M. T. Anderson, the author of Feed.

This in-person event was presented in partnership with the South Burlington Public Library, the Brownell Library, and the National Book Foundation.
