Michael Sjostedt
Michael Sjostedt is a collage artist, workshop facilitator, and creative entrepreneur who has been creating—in both artistic and editorial sectors—for more than 25 years.

What does it take to turn a creative spark into something sustainable—and maybe even life-changing? In this engaging and practical talk, collage artist and creative entrepreneur Michael Sjostedt shares how his creative side hustles evolved over the years, helping him navigate economic downturns and career transitions while building community through art.
Drawing from his experience growing Cut Loose Collage Workshops and Stötta Studio, Michael explores how side projects can become meaningful sources of income, purpose, and resilience. The session includes an interactive group brainstorm where participants will generate ideas for launching or leveling up their own creative side hustles—whether in artmaking, writing, or another passion.
This program invites attendees to reflect, connect, and leave with practical inspiration to grow what they love.
