Speakers Bureau

The class struggle between the owners of capital and the labor which they depend upon has often been predicted to destroy the very fabric of society. In the western world, unions came to be the instrument that allowed dialogue between owners and workers. This series examines, through excellent works of fiction, the formation of unions in different industries, the often cruel and callous calculus behind labor negotiations, and the people who suffered, fought, and died as part of the labor battle.
