Patricia M. Sears is recognized internationally for her coalition-building skills, networking for opportunities with tenacious follow-up for impact, community engagement, and advocacy.
She is a co-founder of NEKTI Consulting and is a certified end-of-life doula passionate about inspiring proactive planning for end-of-life care. She is also a certified community coach for Community Heart & Soul, a proven community engagement tool that strengthens social, cultural & economic vitality through community self-awareness & local decision-making.
Trish serves as the vice president of the RuralEdge board of directors, interim president of NetZero VT, and a member of the VT Humanities board. Currently, she is a Governor-appointee to VT Environmental Commission District 7. Previously, she served as president of AARP VT, the smart-growth member on the VT Downtown Board, and as a board member of several other organizations.
