Merilyn Burrington

Merilyn Burrington has been a book discussion leader for the Vermont Humanities Council since 1991. She has been a school librarian and taught writing and literature courses for CCV during its early years. She recently retired from a 25-year career in the Development offices at UVM and Middlebury College. She holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in English and a master’s degree in History from UVM. Areas of specialization include 19th century American culture, 19th and 20th century American, Canadian, and British literature, and detective novels. Areas of interest are eclectic and evolving.
