Covid-19 Grants

Group on tour in snowy Burlington

The Coronavirus Disease 2019 (Covid-19) pandemic upended life for all Vermonters and people around the world.

We are focused on helping those most affected by the pandemic, including individuals and organizations in our statewide cultural sector. Our partner in this effort is the Vermont Arts Council.

Through our joint Vermont Covid-19 Cultural Recovery Grant Program we have provided in 2021 $1.16 million in funding to arts and humanities organizations facing financial hardship due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Funding for this program was provided primarily from the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) and the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) through the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021.
