Grants

Refresh, Restore, Renew – A time to ask: “What is our story going forward?”

Digital Event
September 8, 2022: 10:30 am - 12:00 pm

Grant proposals should appeal to the head and the heart. The best grant proposals reflect the transformative power of the work your organization does and the joy and passion that your team brings to the work.

Learn how to use story in your grant proposals to connect with funders. Explore best practices for incorporating poignant vignettes, testimonials, and data-driving/results-based storytelling into your grants-writing that demonstrate your organization’s values and impact.

Whether you are a novice or an experienced grant writer, this 90-minute virtual presentation (60-minute webinar; 30 minutes of q&a) will examine ways to improve your organization’s grant proposal, including applying for funding that fits (and avoiding ones that don’t), preventing common mistakes, deepening your narrative explanations, and building relationships for future funding possibilities.

Organizations interested in applying to Vermont Humanities grants are encouraged to attend.

Please register for the virtual event in advance.
