Vermont Reads: Podcast Interviews

Live Event
May 13: 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Bring a friend or family member to share a short, 5-10 minute story about finding yourself in a new place or situation. Your story will be edited by teens and shared with the wider community as part of our 2023 Vermont Reads Programming. Prompts and easy-to-follow instructions will be available, along with help from a Brownell youth librarian.

This program welcomes grades 3 and up, adults included.

Can’t make this event? A podcast kit with instructions is available for checkout to Brownell Library patrons, or schedule an appointment to record at Dorothy Alling Memorial Library by emailing Bonnie at daml@damlvt.org.

The Most Costly Journey is an anthology of comics depicting the oral histories of migrant workers from southern Mexico and Central America who traveled to work on Vermont farms.
