Diversity Equity Book Study: Last Night at the Telegraph Club

The Faculty and staff of WSESU will engage in a book study using, “The Last Night at the Telegraph Club”.

Staff will meet 5 times throughout the year to discuss the text. In addition, people from the broader community will be invited to attend and participate in two of those meetings.

Chocolate will be available to all participants.

 

2023’s Vermont Reads Statewide Reading Program book is Last Night at The Telegraph Club by Malinda Lo. The book centers on themes of self-acceptance, familial and cultural ties, US/China relations, LGBTQ+ and Feminist history, McCarthyism and xenophobia, music of the 1940s and 1950s, and the Asian American experience.
