Stamped: Racism, Antiracism, and You

#1 New York Times bestselling author Jason Reynolds discusses his collaborative work on the book Stamped: Racism, Antiracism, and You, a reimagining of Ibram X. Kendi’s Stamped from the Beginning, “remixed” for a Young Adult audience. Reynolds also reflects on his efforts as an author and activist to inspire social change.

In this special hybrid event for Vermont middle school students, Jason Reynolds meets with a panel of students to discuss with them his books and his efforts as an author and activist to inspire social change.

About Jason Reynolds

Jason Reynolds is a #1 New York Times bestselling author of more than a dozen books for young people, including Look Both Ways: A Tale Told in Ten Blocks, All American Boys, Long Way Down, and Stamped: Racism, Antiracism, and You, and the upcoming Stuntboy, in the Meantime. Attend in-person events in communities around Vermont or join hybrid events online. Many sessions will center around the themes of our Vermont Reads 2022 selection, The Most Costly Journey, a comics collection of stories told by migrant workers in Vermont.
