Four Black women from different films

A focus on films made by African American women directors, including screenings and filmmaker conversations. Lasting 10 days, this virtual film series offers and opportunity to watch a range of films – both classic and contemporary from some of the most prominent filmmakers in the USA. The program includes ground-breaking films by Kathleen Collins and Julie Dash working in the 1980s, and current films by Ashley O’Shay, Natasha NGaiza, and Ekwa Msangi, some from 1st generation filmmakers.
