This in-person conference at the Lake Morey Inn in Fairlee, VT explores innovative approaches to early childhood education grounded in the Humanities Never Too Early framework, with a focus on learning through children’s literature.
Participants will begin with hands-on, developmental art experiences, including multimedia collaging and three-dimensional artwork, followed by discussions on creating developmentally appropriate curriculum around environmental themes.
Our seasonal “Words in the Woods” program allows Vermonters and visitors to enjoy our state’s natural beauty while listening to and reading literature in the outdoors.
Humanities Camps are filled with reading and writing projects, field trips, and outdoor activities.
