John Lewis and RUN!

In this special Farmers’ Night presentation at the Vermont State House, Andrew Aydin, co-author of The March Trilogy with civil rights icon John Lewis, describes the creation of the next book in the series, RUN! Aydin also relates becoming an author, how he became involved in politics, and his experiences working with Congressman Lewis.

Andrew Aydin will also be presenting in a live stream event from the Paramount Theatre in Rutland on Thursday, February 9 at 10:00 am, registration for that event is available to students and teachers of middle and high school grade students via this link.  Students from area schools will be in attendance at the Paramount, and a panel of students from Rutland Union High School will talk with Andrew for the presentation.

About Andrew Aydin

While working on Capitol Hill, he co-wrote with Congressmen Lewis the #1 New York Times bestselling graphic novel trilogy March, which focuses on the Civil Rights Movement during the 1960s from the perspective of Congressman Lewis.
