Join the State of Vermont Office of Racial Equity and The Vermont Human Rights Commission on October 15 from 2 pm to 6 pm to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with food, activities and music! Open Mic poetry and music will be 2pm to 4pm. From 4pm to 6pm will feature music by MalMaiz.
This year’s Vermont Reads selection is The Most Costly Journey, edited by Marek Bennett, Andy Kolovos, and Teresa Mares, which tells the stories of migrant workers on Vermont farms, illustrated by leading cartoon artists.
