The August workshop will focus on learning about the art and life of Maria Merian. Throughout the month of August, stop by the South Londonderry Free Library to borrow a book about Merian, and share her story with friends and neighbors. Then come to the art workshop to make a butterfly book and nature illustrations. Participants will take home a free book on Merian, The Girl Who Chased Butterflies by Joyce Sidman.
