Join New York Times columnist Frank Bruni for a wide-ranging conversation on topics including identity politics and its effect on campuses and communities, and the importance of free speech. Location: Wilson Hall, McCullough Student Center, Middlebury College.
Hosted by the Ilsley Public Library.
The First Wednesdays talks presented in partnership with Middlebury College and the Mellon Foundation are part of Listening & Speaking in Public Spheres, an initiative that calls upon students, faculty and the broader Middlebury, Vermont community to strengthen capacities for productive discourse in the public sphere by developing new tools for engagement.
