An Evening with Billy Collins

House Chamber, Vermont State House
The former US Poet Laureate will speak and read from his work. Reception for ticket holders in the Cedar Creek Room follows, hosted by Friends of the Vermont State House. A UVM Humanities Center Lecture on Happiness. All attendees (with or without tickets) are invited to a book signing with Mr. Collins outside the House Chamber immediately following the talk. Seating begins at 5:45 pm.
Attendance to this event is free and open to the general public. However, due to anticipated high turnout, we have requested that all attendees register for free tickets in order to be seated in the main House Chamber.
Please note: all of the tickets have now been claimed. If you don’t have a ticket, you can still attend the event! However, non-ticket holders will be seated in overflow rooms broadcasting a video stream of the event.
