‚ÄčBill MaresBill Mares has authored or co-authored 17 books on subjects ranging from the Marine Corps to desert travel, from Vermont humor to economic democracy, from war memorials to brewing beer. In this presentation, he will discuss how he was inspired by this diversity of subjects, and will relate the special challenges and satisfactions of collaboration. The presentation will conclude with a “workshop” about how audience members can create their own short narrative fiction or nonfiction pieces.
