Image of Adrienne MajorAdrienne Major of Westminster West joined the board in 2019.  She is a professor of English at Landmark College in Putney, Vermont, where she has worked for 27 years in varied capacities including chair of the English department and Academic Dean. During her tenure as Dean, Adrienne was instrumental in forming the Six College Collaborative, a coordinated endeavor between Landmark College, Marlboro College, World Learning, Union Institute and University, Community College of Vermont and Vermont Technical College to facilitate cross registration and internship opportunities for students in the greater Brattleboro area.

Adrienne continues to serve as Justice of the Peace for Westminster, Deacon for the Congregational Church of Westminster West, and an active actor/director in local theater.  Adrienne earned a BA in English Literature from Smith College, and a PhD. from Tufts University in the same.
