Ryan joined Vermont Humanities in September 2015 as Director of Communications, and he became the Director of Programs in 2022.
Ryan came to Vermont Humanities after ten years at Dartmouth-Hitchcock in Lebanon, New Hampshire, where he was the Director of Web Services. Ryan was the Communications and Marketing Director at the Hanover Co-op for four years in the late 1990s and has also owned a graphic design and website production business. Ryan graduated from Goshen College with a B.A. in Communications, with a journalism emphasis.
