Joy Facos, Treasurer
Joy Facos, Treasurer, of Montpelier is Principal at ESG Research Associates in Montpelier, where she works with investment professionals on incorporating sustainability into their investment decisions. She was a Governor’s appointee to the board in July 2018. She previously held positions as a research analyst at Sentinel Asset Management, Inc. in Montpelier, Head of Risk Management at Dwight Asset Management Company in Burlington, and consultant to nonprofits on a variety of capacity-building efforts.
She is a former General Manager of the Vermont Mozart Festival and twice served as its board president. Her other volunteer efforts include serving as Brick House Tour Guide at the Shelburne Museum, as an Ambassador at the Flynn Center for the Performing Arts, and as president of the board of the Yale Club of Vermont. She holds a BA from Yale College and a teaching certification from Norwich University. She is a graduate of the Snelling Center for Government’s Vermont Leadership Institute.
