Twice a year, through a competitive grant process, the Council makes awards to museums and libraries, film, music and literary festivals, and local historical societies. These organizations offer exciting events.

 

Fall 2009 Awards

· American Precision Museum, Civil War Anniversary Exhibit, $3,400.

· Bennington Free Library and Baker Street Breakfast Club, Victorian Roots of Mysteries Reading Series, $1,200.

· Focus on Film, 13th Annual Green Mountain Film Festival, $2,400.
