The Academy of American Poets – Supporting American poets at all stages of their careers and fostering the appreciation of contemporary poetry, with links to the Academy’s online poetry classroom for teachers and almost 500 recordings of contemporary poets reading their work.

American Life in Poetry – A free weekly column for newspapers and online publications featuring a poem by a contemporary American poet and a brief introduction to the poem by Ted Kooser.

The Haiku Society of America – Dedicated to the promotion and appreciation of haiku poetry in English.

Library of Congress – LOC’s website for poetry and literature, including links to Poet Laureate information.

 Poetry 180 – Home page of The Library of Congress Poetry 180 website.

The Poetry Archive – Restoring poetry to its roots, the archive preserves for future generations uniquely valuable voices of poets reading their own work.

Poetry Everywhere – A video collection of readings from the Geraldine R. Dodge Poetry Festival.

  Poetry Flash – Reviews of poetry and literary fiction, poems, interviews, essays, and submission and award information for all creative writers.

The Poetry Foundation – An independent literary organization committed to a vigorous presence for poetry in American culture.

Poetry Magazine (Poetry Foundation) – The entire one-hundred-year run of the magazine is available free online from this website, as are related audio, video, and monthly podcasts.

Poetry Magazine – A compendium of articles, profiles, recordings and news of interest to writers and readers of poetry.

Poetry Out Loud – National Endowment for the Arts’ and the Poetry Foundation’s site for Poetry Out Loud, a contest that encourages the nation's youth to learn about great poetry through memorization and recitation.

Poetry Slam, Inc. – Poetry Slam, Inc. is the official nonprofit organization charged with overseeing the international coalition of poetry slams.

Poetry Society of America – The nation's oldest poetry organization, founded for the purpose of creating a public forum for the advancement, enjoyment, and understanding of poetry.

Vermont Poetry Society – Home page of the Vermont Poetry Society, committed to cultivating Vermont’s future poets through organized readings and educational programs.

World Poetry Day – UNESCO site dedicated to supporting its proclamation of March 21 as World Poetry Day.

The Poetry Foundation – This app was developed by the Poetry Foundation, the publisher of Poetry magazine. You can carry classic and contemporary poets with you on the go, and easily find poems in a searchable index.

PoemFlow – A new poem becomes available to app subscribers every day, with those from previous days remaining on the device and building the equivalent of an ever-expanding anthology. In addition, historical trivia and contextual information, compiled by Poets.org, are provided for each daily poem.
